Dan Goodyear, Robesonia, PA

Dan and his wife Dale live in Robesonia, PA where they have over 170 llamas in their herd at Berry Acres Llamas.

Dan and Dale believe as part of their mission, that they will devote time to educate the public and new owners about llamas. They believe in supporting and participating in organizations devoted to the welfare of llamas.

Dan served as treasurer on the Board of Directors of the International Llama Association from 1995-1998. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Greater Appalachian Llama and Alpaca Association. He is also currently serving on the board, as President, of the Pennsylvania Llama and Alpaca Association where he chairs the Government Relations Committee.

 

 

 

Dan and Dale are ILA and GALA Life Members. They have consistently supported fund raising activities believing in the need to fund medical research and governmental affairs.

Dan is a graduate of St. Lawrence University. He served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and spent 34 years in the foundry industry, retiring in 1997. During his business career, Dan served as president of the American Foundrymen’s Society, and

was recognized by the Reading, PA Chamber of Commerce as Businessman of the Year.
